Larry
Heller

Co-founder of the NARM Training Institute, developer of the Neuro-Affective Relational Model®, international trainer and author.

Laurence Heller, PhD, developed the Neuro-Affective Relational Model®, known as NARM®. This innovative psychotherapy integrates elements of attachment theory, somatic psychotherapies, object relations theory, and non-Western traditions. It is a unique, non-regressive, non-interpretive psychotherapy model that is present-oriented and works uniquely with the client’s personal history. From the NARM perspective, it is the persistence of once life-saving adaptive survival mechanisms, rather than the trauma itself, that creates symptoms.

Larry is co-founder of the NARM Training Institute and leads online training sessions across the United States and in ten European countries.

He has co-authored: The Practical Guide for Healing Developmental Trauma: Using the NeuroAffective Relational Model to Address Adverse Childhood Experiences and Resolve Complex Trauma and Healing Shame and Guilt: The Developmental Roots of Chronic Shame and Guilt and How the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Can Help You Heal and Reconnect.
