Susan McConnell, MAPD, CHT, is the founder and developer of Somatic IFS. As a senior trainer at the IFS Institute—where she developed the training programs and supervised the trainers—she has been teaching IFS in the United States and abroad since 1997.
Somatic IFS is the culmination of her experience and teaching, drawing on various modalities of bodywork, movement, spirituality, and psychotherapy that facilitate the embodiment of the Internal Family.
Susan teaches Somatic IFS workshops, retreats, and training programs around the world. She is the author of Somatic Internal Family Systems Therapy: Awareness, Breath, Resonance, Movement, and Touch in Practice (2020).
