David Feinstein, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and a pioneer in the development of innovative therapeutic approaches, which has earned him nine awards for his books on consciousness and healing. Together with his partner, Donna Eden, he has created an educational program in energy medicine that is now the largest and most dynamic of its kind in the world. Their award-winning book, The Energies of Love, reached “bestseller” status on the New York Times “Relationships” list. David has worked at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Antioch College, and the California School of Professional Psychology. Their latest book is titled Tapping: Self-Healing with the Transformative Power of Energy Psychology.
David received the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology (ACEP) in 2002 and 2012, the American Book News Award for Best Book of the Year in the psychology/mental health category in 2007, the Outstanding Leadership Award from the Canadian Association for Integrative and Energy Therapies, and, together with Donna, the 2013 Spirit Award from the Infinity Foundation for their contribution to “the evolution of consciousness” and its “impact on society.” A licensed psychologist in Oregon, he has contributed to the field’s body of literature by publishing over a hundred articles.
