She joined the Trauma Center in 2007, where she led trauma-informed yoga sessions for women who had experienced abuse and trauma. She developed the protocol for the first Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) in which trauma-sensitive yoga was studied as an adjunct treatment for complex trauma. In 2008, Jenn and David Emerson co-founded the Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga: TCTSY, a training program in trauma-sensitive yoga practices.
