Leïla Hassas Boumghar holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Algiers and practices as a psychotherapist specializing in CBT. She is a certified EFT and Energy Psychology Master Practitioner, and a trainer and supervisor for IFPEC, for which she also serves as regional representative for Algeria. She is a certified practitioner in Matrix Reimprinting, a certified practitioner in Ericksonian hypnosis, and a certified relaxation therapist.

Leïla is the author of several scientific articles and papers, as well as a chapter on the psychological aspects of cancer in an anthology on medical psychology intended for physicians and medical students. She has conducted several studies on behalf of national and international organizations, notably on breast cancer in young women, and was awarded the Research Encouragement Award from the Medical Research Foundation (FOREM) in 1993. Leïla is also a UN Advisor (UNDSS) on stress management and critical incident response. She is President of the Algerian Association of Emotional and Cognitive Psychotherapy (AAPEC), a national scientific organization.
